i am victorious!

i have just finished replacing my mini-ipod battery. it involved 3 tools and a hairdryer. i tried to follow the directions on the instructional CD, but given the total futility of that, i improvised. and i am glad to say that i did not break anything and that it is happily charging at the moment.

we'll see if it blows up in a couple of hours.

i did screw up the screen rubber framing thing, but hopefully i fixed that and it won't become a problem in the future.
