it's gonna be a late night

quirky turned out to be a good date. we exchanged numbers before going to our respective trains, but i haven't heard from him. he's either forgotten about me or he's just suffering from consultant-itis. y'know, the inability to make plans or have a life outside of work. look at me talking, ms. lawyah.
so my partner is really passive-aggressive, kind of nerdy, and overall, just a joy to work with. seriously though, i don't mind him, but man does he rub the office staff the wrong way. i've become a counselor of sorts, informing people on the best way to deal with him. it's sad but true. i am soooo headed for management. :)
i'm thinking of going up to westchester this weekend to see scrubby. i hope work doesn't prevent that. and even if it does, i may go up anyway. i mean, what's better than going upstate at night on the weekend? ok, a lot of things, but still...
does anyone know if the movie doom is any good? i'm thinking about seeing it and want to know if it's somewhat amusing (even amusing the way starship troopers was amusing would be enough for me) or if it really is just a piece of crap.
